Mayor Goins will continue to enhance community safety through proactive measures and support for the Alton Police Department. His initiatives include community policing programs, continued mental health and crisis response, and aggressive enforcement measures aimed at reducing gun violence, especially among our youth.

Mayor Goins will also invest in modern technology to equip and enhance our police department with the tools and equipment they need to fight crime and protect our community.
