Dear Friends, Supporters, and Community Partners,

As I reflect on this journey, my heart is filled with gratitude. Just over one year ago, because of your support and belief in our shared vision, I had the tremendous honor of being sworn in for my second term as Mayor of the City of Alton.

The road to re-election was not without challenges, but through every step you stood with me. You prayed, encouraged, volunteered, shared our vision, and believed in our mission. Because of your unwavering support, we achieved more than an election victory-we demonstrated that when a community comes together with faith, purpose, and determination, remarkable things are possible.

Our campaign message, "Keep It Going with Goins," continues to guide our work as we build on our progress and pursue an even brighter future for Alton. The same grassroots spirit that carried us through the campaign continues to shape the progress we are making today.

This year's Fourth Annual Mayor's Ball, "Boots & Bling: Where Midwestern Charm Meets Elegance for a Cause," celebrates that spirit. The bling represents our shared accomplishments, while the boots honor the volunteers, supporters, donors, families, and community advocates who have faithfully walked this journey with us. In that same spirit of service, a portion of the proceeds from this year's Mayor's Ball will benefit Sacred Spaces of Care, Be a Bridge NFP, and Church Women United, helping each organization continue its meaningful work throughout our community.

As we gather for this year's ball, may our boots and bling remind us of how far we've come, the faith that has sustained us, and the work that still lies ahead. Together, we will continue to serve, strengthen our community, and Keep It Going with Goins.
